Easy No Borax Halloween Slime
This is my safe, no Borax recipe to make fun pumpkin slime for Halloween.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup White School Glue
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
Orange Food Coloring
approx 3-4 tbp Contact Saline Solution
4 cups Unscented Shaving Cream
Pumpkin Scented Oil (if desired)
*You can use any white school glue. Elmers school glue gives a better consistency to the slime. If you use a non-name brand white school glue let the slime thicken over night in a tupperware container.
In a large bowl mix 4 cups of unscented shaving cream with a 1/2 cup of white school glue. Mix until combined. Next, add 1/4 tsp baking soda, a few drops of pumpkin scent (optional), and food coloring to make a nice bright orange color, and mix. Start adding the contact saline solution 1 tablespoon at a time until the slime thickens, and you can begin to form a ball. Keep kneading the slime, and slowly adding more contact solution till you form a big ball that isn’t sticky. Store in a tupperware container.
Add your slime to small mason jars. Add foam or construction paper shaped eyes, and mouth to decorate jars to look like a jack o lantern.
Stop by your local Dollar Store and see what items you can get for just $1.00. I picked up white school glue, unscented shaving cream, baking soda, saline solution, and small mason jars.
